Arabic Morphology (Sarf)

Arabic is a very rich and eloquent language. There are two primary dimensions to the Arabic language: grammar and conjugation. This course complements Arabic Grammar by offering students insight into Arabic morphology and conjugation. Students will learn the Arabic root system, how words are conjugated, and the different forms and weights of words. Frequent examples will be drawn from the holy Qur’an to demonstrate these various aspects of Arabic Sarf. A total of 25 lessons were offered in the year 2018-2019. This course is instructed by Sayed Mohammad Baqer al-Qazwini.
