This course aims to discuss and debunk common misconceptions about Islam. Each class looks at one specific misconception and use the Quran and Islamic sources to refute these allegations. This course equips students with the knowledge needed to properly guide one’s self and others. This course is especially important in modern times where Islam is being tainted wrongfully in the press and social media outlets. Sayed Saleh al-Qazwini
Sayed Saleh studied in the Seminary of Qom from 2006-2013, and he recently completed an MA in Near Eastern Studies from Wayne State University. He also completed a BA in Sociology from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He is a speaker and lecturer.
