This course, Family Law, offers introductory lessons on Islamic laws and rulings regarding Family matters. Topics that will be discussed include marriage, divorce, and child custody and guardianship. The rulings discussed in class will be based on the edicts of the majority of scholars, and some arguments which serve as the basis for those rulings will be discussed. Furthermore, the process by which scholars derive Islamic rulings will be presented at a basic, introductory level. This online course is instructed by Sayed Ahmad Qazwini.
